WHO WE ARE
Inner West for Yes is a coalition of Inner West citizens who are campaigning in support of the Yes vote at the upcoming referendum on constitutional recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people through a Voice to Parliament.
Our goals are to maximise the Yes vote in the Inner West of Sydney, amplify the voices of Indigenous people in the discussion, give all Inner West citizens a way to get involved in the Yes campaign and contribute to building the Yes campaign across Sydney, NSW and Australia.
The Inner West is a diverse community with a long record of contributing to social movements and progressive causes that have improved and strengthened Australian society.
Inner West for Yes seeks to build on that proud history and include our whole community in a grassroots campaign that can help to win the referendum.

Australia’s now 122-year-old constitution still doesn’t recognise our first Australians; Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. It’s time it did. By voting ”Yes” you’ll ensure that they are finally recognised in our constitution in a simple and meaningful way: through a Voice to Parliament that will ensure they are heard on the issues that affect their communities.
